Vedauwoo, Wyoming is my favorite climbing area and we saw Momma Moose first really far away, then we saw baby. We decided to stay on the far side of the baby and get some pics but I also got a little video and the baby approached very curious and with very majestic movements and pure eyes. Then at the last minute it trotted off back to mom. We felt safe because Momma was very far away. We kept climbing with a great memory of a beautiful animal still with us.
Steven, thanks for sharing your experience with us. Interacting with moose (at a safe distance) is an exciting and exhilarating moment. One you won't soon forget.
