I have many hours of moose video from my trail cameras. Of course, I see moose kneeling all the time in transition to lying down or getting drinks from a spring. But this moose is walking on his front knees. Any ideas?

Thank you for sharing your video Michael. I have never observed this behaviour myself but it has been documented.
I found the following information in the The Ecology and Management of the North American Moose.

In 1955 Peterson, R.L. observed moose moving over deep snow while kneeling on their forelegs, thus spreading the load similar to snowshoes. The process of the kneeling move packs the snow so the forelegs don't sink as much and the rear legs will benefit from this packing as well.

I suspect the bull in your video must have been dealing with some deep snow before he was captured by digital means.
