Phantom Bucks

by James Medai
(Parry Sound ON. Canada)

When pushing the bush in a deer drive never overlook the most unlikely places in the drive. They will often be used as an exit route out of the area you are hunting.

Thanks for the tip James.

For those who don't know, phantom bucks are those bucks that can sneak past you when on a deer drive. They will double back though the most unlikely spots. Heed James' advice and look over those areas you might not otherwise inspect. the big buck you are looking for just might be hiding or doubling back right under your nose.
