My New Brunswick Moose
I got this big bull hunting with Taxis River Outfitters in New Brunswick, Canada.
It was the second day of the three day hunt when my guide called him in from a good half mile away.
It was quite a rush listening to him grunt and rake the trees for over an hour as he came in. The 30.06 dropped him at 80 yards when he stepped out into a clearcut by a logging road.
What a great mature bull Tom! How many points and what was his overall width?
I see you choose the 30-06 caliber as your moose hunting rifle. It is the most popular caliber among moose hunters.
