Moose Meatloaf

I like to use the slow cooker so you can start it early and know that at supper time it is ready to serve.

Meat Loaf

Line the slow cooker with aluminum foil high enough on the sides so that you can lift the meat out later.

1 large onion finely chopped
1/4 cup zesty Italian Dressing
1 1/2 lb minced moose meat
3/4 cup ketchup. divided
1 pkg. Stove Top Dressing
3/4 cup water
2 egg whites

Cook onions in dressing in nonstick skillet on medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes. Cool slightly. In large bowl mix meat, onions, 1/4 cup ketchup, stuffing mix, water and egg whites. Shape into loaf and place in cooker keeping sides of loaf away from aluminum foil. Cover with remaining ketchup. Cover and turn cooker to low for 7 to 8 hours.

Serve this with creamy cauliflower and spiced red cabbage and you have a very healthy meal.
