I have shot plenty of moose and with the gun that feels like my right arm and that is the Browning Bar 30-06 using Remington 180 gr bullets.
People complain about the semi-auto but like any other rifle keep it clean and will not let you down in the field. I used to live in Northern Manitoba and used this rifle in -40C for late moose and Caribou. Nothing beats the fall season for getting bull moose.
